Green pod colour (G) is dominant over yellow (g). A green-podded plant might be GG or Gg. Which plant should it be crossed with to find out?

The right answer is the one marked above.

A yellow-podded plant. Yellow is recessive, so that plant is gg and contributes nothing dominant. Any yellow offspring must have received a g from the unknown parent, which shows it is Gg.

If the unknown plant is GG, every offspring is green. If it is Gg, about half are yellow. That is a test cross.
