Why is it hard to decide whether a hen's egg is living or non-living?
The right answer is the one marked above.
Because it shows no living characteristics now, yet a chick comes from it if it is kept safe. The capacity for life remains in it.
An egg does not move, does not eat and does not grow, so moving and taking in food are both wrong. Saying it is made of non-living material is wrong too; if that were so there would be no puzzle at all.
