Every cell in them was copied from the one parent by ordinary cell division. Nothing is mixed in from anywhere else, so there is nothing to make them differ.
“Their gametes all came from the same parent” assumes gametes, and asexual reproduction produces none. Meiosis is what creates variety, and it does not occur here. Producing large numbers in a short time is true of asexual reproduction but is not the reason for the resemblance.
