Question 1
What is a standard solution?
The right answer is the one marked above.
A solution whose concentration is known very accurately. Every solution has a concentration; what makes one standard is that the concentration is known accurately.
A standard solution is used to measure other things, so an error in its own concentration passes into every result obtained with it. It is a ruler, and a ruler with the wrong markings is worse than none.
