Lesson: Chapter 5 — Optics

Images formed by a convex lens 2 of 6

Object at the focus

With the object at the focus, the two rays leave the lens parallel to each other.

An object at F; after the lens the ray parallel to the axis passes through the far focus and the ray through O goes straight on, parallel to it — they meet only at infinity.

The image

At an infinite distance. It is larger than the object.
