Parenchyma. Isodiametric cells with a large central vacuole and a very thin cellulose wall, all alive, is parenchyma and nothing else.
This is question 1(iii) of the chapter exercise. Collenchyma cells are elongated and corner-thickened; sclerenchyma is dead; xylem is a complex tissue.
