Heat radiation
Near a bonfire you feel its warmth, but not by conduction or convection. The heat reaches you another way.

Heat radiation
Heat radiation is heat travelling from a hot object as electromagnetic waves (infrared radiation), with no matter taking part. Radiation needs no medium; conduction and convection need particles.
Heat reaches the Earth from the Sun across about 150 million kilometres of empty space — by radiation. Every hot object gives out heat by radiation.
